Here are some tips for washing and caring for your lace garments :
Hand wash :
Preparation : Fill a basin with lukewarm water (around 30°C) and add a small amount of mild detergent or soap specially designed for delicate fabrics.
Cleaning : Gently immerse your lace garment in water and let it soak for a few minutes. Shake it gently without rubbing or twisting to avoid damaging the fibers.
Rinse : Rinse thoroughly with cold water until all traces of soap are removed.
Machine wash:
If you choose to machine wash your lace, take the following precautions:
Protection : Place the garment in a washing net to protect it from friction and snags.
Program : Select a delicate or delicate cycle, with a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Laundry : Use a mild detergent, without bleaching agents or harsh products.
Drying :
Spin drying : Avoid machine spinning. After washing, gently squeeze the garment between your hands to remove excess water, without twisting it.
Drying : Lay the garment flat on a clean, dry towel, then roll up the towel to absorb moisture. Then unroll and let it air dry, away from direct sunlight, to prevent fading.
Ironing :
Temperature : If ironing is necessary, use a low temperature iron.
Protection : Place a thin cloth between the iron and the lace to avoid direct contact and protect the delicate fibers.
